Icebox's Kelly-This pretty little doe is out of a Sweno buck that Swenos gave us a breeding to and a white doe from Rowlands. Ain't she a pretty little thing? We also kept her brother Kevin as a breeding buck and BOY is he producing some pretty little babies! She placed 2nd jr doe at convention in 2004.
Icebox's Quil is out of Quick and a Sweno buck. WHOO this buck has type! He's the body of a good castor and the fur of a nice white. He is pictured here at 10 weeks. He is full, short and deep from shoulder to table and there are no such things as pinbones on this guy. Quil won BOV at convention 2003 and is now siring some gorgeous kits.
BOV 2003 Convention
Icebox's Erin-This gorgeous little gal has just had a litter...sadly she lost them but has been re-bred to a himi buck that I purchased from Dae at convention for working on the chins. I crossed them together to expand my stock for the chins. She is out of a white and a chin.
Icebox's Karrot- This gorgeous girl is a self chin (they are very similar to and often mistaken for seals) and is out of Quil and a himi doe. She sports a gorgeous thick lovely coat and super excellent type.
Sweno's Clyde- this old buck...has a haaard body and deeeep hindquarters. He's also got lovely color and is currently in being bred. His first litters are expected soon.
Icebox's - sold bred to Kevin at convention to a youth breeder. Placed 5th in the sr doe class. lovely color on this doe...I shoulda kept her. LOL. Oh well...made a gal a nice starter doe!
Icebox's - sister to the above doe. Placed second to the BOV doe at convention. Her baby (born about a month before convention) is at right. She is out of Quil and a white doe out of Erica and a Harney buck.
Icebox's chin doe -Pretty little gal out of the doe at left and a white buck (mi mums full brudder..sssshhhhh!!!) This was actually an oopsie breeding but it turned out quite nicely. This gal is built just like mum and daddy...hopefully she will develop a coat like mums senior coat.
Icebox's Kazam- naw, not a chin but a gorgeous chin producing buck.
This past summer we had a bad run of luck with the chins. I lost Quil, and several of my does. The lines are still here but at present, they are whites, himis, self chins, a frosted pearl, and a squirrel. I will be using those animals to work on sable points and I will be putting them into my other colors as well due to the strength of the type in that line. Pictures will be updated when the next generation is old enough for photographing. Thanks for your interest.
