What do you need to improve upon?
When ordering animals from Icebox Rabbitry you must be very specific about what you need most to improve. I can only help you to improve your herd if you know what is lacking and can describe it to me. Be very specific. There are other articles on this site that will help you understand fur and type to some extent but if you want to get in depth into type before ordering I suggest you read my typebook. Even if you don't order rabbits from me the book will help you to learn what is needed in your herd.
Pricing:
Our animals are priced according to the following criteria:
Overall type which includes:
- Shoulder and Hindquarter fullness
Fur which includes:
- Genetic Finishing Ability
Animals that posess 90-100% of these qualities will be priced from $175-250
Animals that posess 80-90% of these qualities will be priced from $150-175
Animals that posess 70-80% of these qualities will be priced from $125-150
Animals that posess 50-70% of these qualities will be priced from $75-125
Animals that posess less than 50% of these qualities will only be saved at the request of a specific buyer who needs a certain trait or color. I normally don't save anything that isn't worth at least $50.00 unless it is a special request. I will make accomodations for buyers who can't spend alot but... please don't expect to get a $150.00-250.00 animal for $50.00 unless you purchase a young bunny that I can't tell what it will be like.
Shipping:
I can ship pretty much any airline that flies out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. You will need to call the airline for current shipping info and prices. $35.00 will be added to each shipment for the cost of the vet check.
